Tanger Med Port is equipping itself with a latest-generation remote-controlled firefighting robot, marking a new era in high-risk intervention.
This fully electric robot can spray up to 2,000 liters of water or foam per minute, with a 5-hour battery life and a range of 500 meters. Designed to operate in extreme conditions—smoke, heat, unstable terrain—it is equipped with HD cameras, thermal cameras, 360° rotating cameras, and a high-pressure cannon. It also includes a gurney support and a transport basin that can hold up to 250 kg.
Certified IP67 and controlled via a multifunction remote control, this innovative system enhances the Port’s response and safety capabilities. Tanger Med is now the first African port to integrate this technology into its firefighting operations.
