RELIABILITY OF GEMINI SERVICES AND PORT DYNAMICS IN THE MEDITERRANEAN

Following the publication of its monthly statistics on schedule reliability, Sea-Intelligence highlighted the remarkable performance of vessels operated under the Gemini cooperation between MAERSK and HAPAG-LLOYD. In February 2025, these services achieved an exceptional punctuality rate of 94%, exceeding the initial target of 90%. This result clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of the strategic partnership between the two shipowners.

Although the full launch of the East-West network is scheduled for June 2025, maritime traffic to Southern Europe continues to grow, confirming the strategic role of Mediterranean ports, such as Tanger Med Port, as major gateways for Asia-Europe trade.
